Yesterday, Day 8, was a struggle. I have to be honest in saying that I really wanted to just eat all day. I was hungry too often. One of the reasons was that I am usually a late breakfast eater. I normally drink my coffee and then have a shake (or food) around 10:30. I decided to fix my shake before I left for work and had breakfast at 7:30. Well, about 11:00 I was hungry! I ate a small apple and peanuts. A handful or so. Then about 12 ish I had my shake. Then about 4 pm I was starving. I ate more nuts and was still hungry so I had a Belivita. I promised Sarah Chinese sometime this week. I didn't order for myself but she had an egg roll that we just couldn't let go to waste. There are starving children in Africa ya know...so we can't dare throw it away. So of course I did my humanitarian duty and ate the egg roll with a salad.
I wanted to add up my calories for the day because I knew I had eaten more than normal. It doesn't seem like a lot of food, not really.
Shake with Almond Milk 220

Peanuts .......wait a minute....39 pieces for 160. Sounds good. But below you will see a pic of 39 pieces of peanuts. That isn't even a handful. So calorie intake possibly 200
Shake with 2% Milk and PB powder 350

GOOD GRACIOUS!!! It's the nuts!! The nuts are killing my calorie intake for the day. They are easy and portable and DANGEROUS!! So a warning to you all. NUTS will KILL your Calorie Budget. It's those dang nuts!!! Even the PB powder is 45 calories that I could have done without.
Yesterday, Day 8, didn't go so well. But today is a new day! NO REPEATS and NO NUTS!!!!
