Let's Do, Do #2 All about Crappy Diets

No we are not going to discuss POO! Although, did you see what I did there? Anyways, speaking of poo, the one product that I absolutely love is Plexus ProB5. All I can say is it helps with #2 but it is #1 in my book!!


Today's topic is really about the dreaded word 'diet'. D Day (Day 1) was amazing. I had energy, focus, and didn't get terribly hungry. However, I was scared to eat. That is truth!! I didn't eat until almost 6:30pm. Even then it was a small salad with some tuna and cottage cheese. That sounds dietish doesn't it? The reason I was scared to eat is like after 43 years of dieting I have too much knowledge. You heard me right. Too much contradictory information. Is the secret Keto, LCHF, Intermittent Fasting, Weight Watchers, Low Fat, Paleo, Liquid Diets....shall I continue with the many diets I have studied/done? Any habitual dieter knows the nuts and bolts of most diets. We have tried it all!!!


So what works? All of them! Like all DIETS work. If it is a diet and you are doing it....like really doing it...it will work for you. The problem is we stop doing the diet and return to our old habits. That's where we mess up. It is true what they say, whoever they is, that we must make this a lifestyle change and not a diet. The Sleigh Challenge from Plexus came with a meal plan. A detailed meal plan that is amazing. But I haven't started it yet. Day 2 and I might. But I have trust issues, lol. I don't trust myself yet.


I was talking with God this morning. In my devotion time the scripture was spot on. Hebrews 4;16 "So let us come boldly before the throne of our gracious God. There we' will receive his mercy and WE WILL FIND GRACE TO HELP US WHEN WE NEED IT MOST". That is an answer to my trust issue and fear of FOOD if I ever read one. So my prayer and thought for Day 2 is to ask God to help me when I need it most. Not to fear eating for sustenance. Just to trust this process and trust my gut. If I am hungry, eat. But not all the left over Halloween candy, right?
