That title got your attention didn't it? Ha! Well, we are talking about a dirty diet. Yesterday I did wonderfully. I had no sugar, bread, crackers, cake, etc.. I had meat, nuts, cheese, and eggs. It is amazing how my body responds to food. Wheat seems to hurt me BUT I LOVE IT. Sugar seems to make me act like a crack addict BUT I LOVE IT. But without it in my system I feel so much better.

So this dirty diet talk....here is the low down. It's Christmas time and snacks are abundant. I don't want to feel deprived. So I am making up a diet for this time of year. It will be called the 80/20 diet. For 80% of the time I will eat like a normal low carb (healthy carb) person. For 20% of the time I can allow myself to indulge if I must. Yesterday I did a full 100% good. YAY ME!!

I think people get scared when you say LOW CARB for a reason. I am an extremist. When I say low carb I go off the deep end with it. I would prefer my mind to allow me to eat slow carb and not be so extreme. Slow as in the sense of beans, all vegetables, and higher index products like quinoa. But I tend to fall back to the norm of staying away from those items for some reason. I am a weirdo. An all or nothing mentality has gotten me where I am now.............FAT AS A HOG. Everything I am reading is saying that FAT is our friend!! Sugar is our enemy!! I can't help but agree some. I do believe that God has given us fruits and vegetables. The idea of cutting a lot of those out seems weird to me. It always has. Like the traditional low carb plan is to cut out all fruit (except for the one occasional strawberry) I love and crave apples but that is so not low carb. My question for the masses is......can you still eat some of those carbs and lose weight? I guess I will find out on my own.

What you do you think of an 80/20 diet plan? Could you do it?
