I love the weekends! Who doesn’t? Well, maybe those that don’t have an M-F job don’t. But I do! The only issue with the weekends is the lack of structure for trying to eat right.
I get weak! The family wants to go out to eat. Or they want me to cook for them- even worse! If I cook it I am going to eat it. It‘s hard to replace two meals a day with a yummy shake when the family is eating pizza (my favorite) or eating a great breakfast (also my fav). Who am I kidding food is my favorite!!!
The thing is for 14 days I can do anything!!! That’s what the Plexus Sleigh Challenge is. For 14 days you replace two meals with the shakes. I can do that for 14 days!!! Then it’s to learn to make better choices. That’s the hard part. I don’t feel you can replace two meals a day with shakes for the rest of your life (no matter how good they are). But it’s a start to help empower you for the road ahead. I do believe I could replace one meal a day with a shake and never feel deprived.
So for a positive thought... I feel so much better. Just in two days! My stomach isn’t as bloated. I feel more energetic. The most important feeling is the assurance that I am in control and not food! It’s amazing how depressed you feel when you feel out of control. I have taken control and that makes me feel confident!!! Healthy eating starts in the mind.
